The 500 million dollars a month they've been getting in profit (not revenue) for the past 3 years says they probably won't even bother to tell you where you can stick your opinion.  lol

@Alyxandri - I don't buy that for a second.  For every Asian girl in America, there's probably 2 Asian men.  Yet, in media, the White male/Asian female dynamic is far more prevalent.  I would believe the probability game if it were more random, but it's almost always the aforementioned formula.

@Eng9land - FYI, I live in the US, not Asia.  I'd say it's a lot more insidious than innocent race mixing.  If the ratio between White Males/Asian Females to White Females/Asian Males wasn't 10-1, then I might give your opinion more credit.  However, if you examine history, the present, and cliched conventions on the subject, you'd realize that these images have been fed to us for a very long time and with much frequency.  Sure, we shouldn't blame it all on the media, but once you look at the numbers, you can't help but feel like they have something to do with it.

@Eng9land - I see you're new to my blog, and so perhaps you don't pick up on my sense of humor.  Boycotting the iPhone is just hyperbole.  If you're hung up on that part, then you're missing the point.  In any case, I am serious about the portrayal of my race in media, just as I'm sure you don't want your to be juxtaposed with flag burnings and Al Qaeda all the time.  Every day we are bombarded my messages and it inevitably frames how we view the world.  Just like I'm okay with watching Arabs on TV going "sha la la la la, death to America," I understand it probably isn't as funny to you.
