Republicans Want America to Burn So They Can Take it Back

The clip is pretty self-explanatory. In essence, these Conservative goons are hoping for another massive terrorist attack to prove to Americans that electing Democrats is a mistake. So, in their tortured logic, the only way to keep our country safe is for it to be attacked in a devastating and traumatic way. Brilliant, huh? With whackos like these speaking for Conservatives, I really do look forward to what the future holds for them. They are now so desperate that they want to torch the house down so they can rebuild it. Is hyper-patriotism any different from terrorism? When an American calls for "death to America," shouldn't we stick him in Guantanamo Bay too? Who needs Osama when you have FOX News?

we're not gonna have to wish for an attack the Obama admin. will just fuck off america with all its sppending. I think its ridiculous for anyone to think rep. want anything to happen to U.S. Republicans are the reason we are safe right now.

I think you read inbetween the lines wrong... Obama has been "talking peace" and trying to just shake everyones hands accross seas and apologize for things he had no control over because he was not in office (which that part to me shows a sign of weakness I didn't like that last one when I heard it)... and We as Americans... we are bullies... and it took 9/11 to bring us together for a short period.. everyone shouted attack... and now that we are still there... trying to help clean up the mess that we helped create in the first place (Not all of it but some of it) so that it will not happen again...Or to make it less likely... Everyones like pull out pull out... Its like Have unprotected sex and at the time not caring whether you get prego.. finding out a month later you are prego.. and aborting it because you werent ready for the realization...

I think he more or less meant... Its going to take another attack FOR The people to take there government back... and im sorry I do believe our government has gone way beyond our reach... Yea Obama's done alot... But His putting us more in the whole becuase BIG COMPANIES can't control themselves and its our job to bail them out... We arn't going to get anything in return for that... There not going to come out of this and say HEY!!! 50% off your next purchase on a brand new car... or ANYTHING like that... so why should we as the BROKE american people... have to Bail out those BIG compaines that are going to give there top employees bonus's and yank up there rates so we STILL can't afford there product even more...

What would Obama do if we where attacked again?... do you think Obamas just going to get on another plane and go shake there hand an aplogize for whatever we did to deserve that... or is everyone going to rally up again and attack the wolf... Im not sure what Obama would do as commander in cheif... considering is lack of military... But I know what I would want my president to do... And I hope Obama stands up for the America that he so "proudly" serves...

When at war, show no mercy. When at peace, show no hostility. Obama has shown that he was willing to execute pirates that take American sailors captive and is beefing up forces in Afghanistan to hunt down the Taliban and Al Qaeda. He is not as soft as some people put him out to be. Just because he's not like Bush picking fights with other nations, doesn't make him weak.

And just because the guy meant it would take a big attack to wake people up still means he said it. He is stating the only way for Americans to switch back to Republicans is if we have another 9/11. They are essentially rooting for another terrorist attack just so they can say "I told you so."

@coolmonkey - i never said he was weak.. I said i didn't know what he would choose to do.. and that I thought him apologizing for past presidents he had no control over to a leader that could go to war with us was weak... thats just my opionon though.. I still stand by it.. and no im not a rep. but I do think america needs a wake up call.. not THAT severe... by all means.. but we really do...

9/11 was our wake-up call. the war in iraq was our wake-up call. our economic was our wake-up call. that's why republicans are not in office this term. we're trying something different cuz we don't want any more "wake up calls."
